Bartholomew Reads Endowment Fund

Heritage FundThe Bartholomew Reads Endowment Fund, a fund within Heritage Fund – the Community Foundation of Bartholomew County was created to support the long-term work of the Bartholomew County Literacy Task Force. Donations are invested in the community foundation’s endowment. A grant distribution is made annually to the Bartholomew County Literacy Task Force. Grants funds have been used to support the Literacy Festival and the Book Buddies program.

There are many opportunities for you to make a difference in the community and help us reach our goals. We offer many different volunteer positions that utilize a wide variety of skills. Whether you prefer a long-term commitment such as becoming a Book Buddy or something short-term such as working a 2-hour shift at the Literacy Festival, we have a place for you!
